This Privacy Statement describes the personal information that Revenium (HyperCurrent, Inc. d/b/a Revenium) collects, how we use and share it, and your rights and choices as a data subject. "Personal Data" means any information associated with an identified or identifiable individual.

This Privacy Statement applies to data collected from locations where it is linked or posted. It does not apply to data we process on behalf of our business customers — that use is governed by our customer agreements.

1. What Information We Collect

We collect personal information in three ways:

A. Directly from you, including:

  • Contact details (name, email, phone, job title, company) when you sign up, contact us, or register for events.
  • Billing information (credit card number, billing address) when you make purchases.
  • Resume and contact information if you apply for a job.
  • Profile information (username, bio, areas of expertise) if you join an online community we host.
  • Visitor information (name, company, time of arrival) if you visit our offices.

B. Automatically when you use our website:

  • Log files: IP address, browser type, pages visited, device information, and timestamps.
  • Cookies and tracking technologies: browsing behavior, session data, and interaction with our emails.

C. From third parties:

  • We purchase contact and professional data (mailing address, job title, email, phone, LinkedIn URL, IP address, intent data) from third-party data providers for marketing purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Operate and improve our website and services.
  • Process transactions and manage your account.
  • Communicate with you, including sending marketing emails.
  • Plan and host events and webinars.
  • Display personalized advertisements and content.
  • Maintain the security of our systems.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect usage data and improve our services. We use three types of cookies: (1) Required cookies, which are essential for the site to function and cannot be disabled; (2) Functional cookies, which remember your preferences and improve your experience; and (3) Advertising/targeting cookies, which serve ads tailored to your interests.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. We use Google Analytics and HubSpot for analytics. To opt out of Google Analytics, use the browser add-on at google.com. All Revenium-placed cookies expire after 12 months.

We do not sell or share your personal data for cross-contextual behavioral advertising, and we do not process sensitive personal data to infer consumer characteristics.

4. Who We Share Your Information With

We may share your personal information with:

  • Service providers (IT, hosting, payment processing, analytics, marketing, customer support).
  • Event sponsors — only if you consent via event registration or allow your badge to be scanned.
  • Advertising networks and social media platforms for targeted advertising.
  • Professional advisors (lawyers, auditors, insurers).
  • Revenium affiliates for customer support, marketing, and operations.
  • A buyer or successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. International Data Transfers

Your personal data may be stored and processed in the United States or other countries. Where transfers occur outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses (EU SCCs) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) to protect your data.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this statement, and then delete it. Retention periods are determined based on the nature and sensitivity of the data, the risk of harm, and applicable legal requirements.

8. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area, we process your data on the following legal bases:

  • Consent — when you have given us permission for a specific purpose.
  • Contractual Necessity — to fulfill a contract with you.
  • Legal Obligation — to comply with the law.
  • Legitimate Interests — to operate and improve our business, where those interests do not override your rights.

You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at legal@revenium.io.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your data (right to erasure).
  • Restrict or object to how we process your data.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format.
  • Opt out of automated decision-making (note: we do not currently use automated decision-making).
  • Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

To exercise your rights, contact us at legal@revenium.io. We will respond within one month. If you have registered for an account, you may also update your profile and settings by logging in directly.

10. Marketing Preferences

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related communications such as account updates, security notices, or event confirmations.

11. Security

We use organizational, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and logging out of your account when finished.

12. Changes to This Statement

We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top and, for material changes, provide notice via our website or email. We encourage you to review this statement periodically.
